As we all know that Rakhi Celebration is the most popular Hindu festival celebrated across India with great happiness and excitement as it comes on Purnima full moon day of shravan month so it has its own significance also and considered very auspicious day of Hindu calendar. it is also known as Rakshabandhan means bond of protection contains two words Raksha and Bandhan it symbolize the love between sister and brother as bonding between sister and brother is unique which cannot be expressed into words on this day sister ties Rakhi on the wrist of her brother and prays for the prosperity, health, wealth and long life and in return brother promise to his sister for her safety in any circumstances and offers different gifts like chocolates, flowers, sweets, money etc.

Every brother sister eagerly wait for this occasion every year and it reflects the true love between brother and sister. Sisters started cleaning their houses much before this occasion they shop for new traditional clothes to look unique and beautiful for the occasion,they shop for beautiful paintings, colorful vases, cushions and covers etc to give their house an elegant look as its quite clear that a clean house is where the God is ! They also decorate their house with colorful rangolis by drawing them at the entrance of the houses it is easy to made and adds charm to the beauty of the whole house. and they also keep different vases with colorful flowers like rose,orchids,sunflowers at every corners of the house as they look great and makes a happy and festive environment with fragrance and Sisters also use variety of floor carpets with rugs which actually makes the house more elegant.

Preparations begin much before Rakhi festival as sisters buy colorful,beautiful dynamic Rakhis for their brothers they actually want to make this the very special so they started shopping much before this occasion to get the best thing for their brothers.
Markets decoration is at peak during this day as they are full of colorful,beautiful,designers rakhis along with gifts are usually available on this day. Markets are also full of beautiful,silk,traditional clothes for brothers and sisters with different variety of jewelries and sweet is very important of celebration so markets,shops are full of different variety of gift packets, sweets, dry fruits,fruits etc. to make this occasion more attractive or happy.

This is festival is celebrated across India on this day sisters use to tie a thread called Rakhi on her brothers right hand and Rakhi thali is the same as puja thali like it contains dia,roli,tika,rive,sandlewood,incensestiks with sweets and then sister put a tilak on her brothers forehead with lighted dia on a thali with sweets or other gifts and in return brother also take a pledge to help her sister in any condition along with lots of gifts or money as its the bond of protection,care,obligation and sisters also decorate rakhi thali by yellow petals of marigold and beads to make it more attractive. and this way the celebration starts. and during this whole family unite and enjoys each others company with this festive moment then they share delecious food,tasty sweets,gifts packets,dryfruits with each other then they dance and celebrate the occasion with all happiness.
